THIS PAGE IS IN MEMORY OF RON YANCY, AHJBS MEMBER
AUGUST 6, 1944 - AUGUST 27, 2017
Ron was an active member of the American Historic Juke Box Society, and died suddenly on Sunday August 27, 2017. Ron was a big fan of Rockola jukeboxes, and even had a nice, working unit placed in a diner in his area. From his collection of 20,000+ cataloged 45s, Ron would change out the records every week or so, according to requests posted on a sheet he attached to the jukebox for diner patrons to submit their requests. Ron was also an avid collector of antique record players (Victrola and Edison) as well as music boxes. We will miss Ron's smiling face, and his upbeat personality, and his willingness to always help other club members, and suggestions to make the club better.
R.I.P Ron......you will be sorely missed.
